Media Power is an Apple Authorized Training Center, and offers an introduction to Apple's Final Cut Pro editing system. All classes are taught by Apple Certified Instructors and include Apple-designed course curricula and study guides.

FCP 101 - Introduction to Final Cut Pro

This 3-day course guides you through the basic and intermediate operations of Apple's Final Cut Pro, from capturing footage through editing and output. Topics include editing (overwrite, insert, replace, fit to fill), trimming and fine tuning, adding transitions, motion effects and color correction.

Please note: Final Cut Pro night courses meet 5 days a week for 4 hours a night.

Workshop Fee $995 including course materials
(Note: this price does not include the exam fee.)
Course Time (Day) 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with an hour for lunch)
Course Time (Night) 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (5 days)


FCE 101 - Overview of Basic Editing in Final Cut Express

This 2-day class introduces the interface and functionality of Final Cut Express, and covers all the basics, from
capturing material to final output to tape or DVD. Topics include trimming, and adding effects, transitions, music,
titles and narration.

Course Time 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with an hour for lunch)
